We were created to worship, and every worship leader is first called to be a worshiper. The Worship Elective is designed to help you cultivate a lifestyle of worship while equipping you to lead others into the presence of God. As you grow in intimacy with Jesus, you'll discover that leading worship is about far more than music- it's about pointing hearts toward the King.
Throughout the school, you'll gain hands-on experience serving on worship teams, either leading worship, running sound, preparing chord charts, playing an instrument, all while developing the practical skills needed to serve with excellence. Whether you're on stage or behind the scenes, you'll learn how every role can serve to lead others to have an encounter with God.

What is worship Elective in the DTS?
JUCUM San Diego/Baja's Escuela de Discipulado y Entrenamiento es un curso acreditado de nivel universitario a través de la Universidad de las Naciones que dura cinco meses. Usted y sus compañeros de estudios participarán en una Fase Campus de tres meses, incluyendo la enseñanza de impacto en la vida, devocionales diarios, y un poderoso ministerio de adoración y tiempos de oración con nuestra comunidad JUCUM . Nuestros campus están situados en la hermosa región de Baja California de México, justo al sur de San Diego y la frontera con EE.UU..
After the 3-month Campus Phase, you are sent out on a 2-month international outreach trip equipped with newfound effective and assertive communication. In the Outreach Phase, you will use your God-given passion for adventure to bring God’s unending love to new communities across the world. A new DTS starts every fall and winter on either our San Antonio Del Mar or Ensenada campus. Both DTS are offered in English and Spanish, with locations only a few minutes walk from the beach. We can’t wait to see you there!
