Dear Homes of Hope,I am originally from Veracruz and moved to Tijuana when I was 19 years old in search of work. I found a job at a small restaurant where I worked for two years. It was there that I met Julio César, and we began a relationship. Eventually, we decided to move in together and build a life of our own. Soon after, our daughter Victoria was born, and for two years everything seemed to be going well. In April 2022, we decided to purchase a piece of land with the dream of building a home for our family. However, in December of that same year, our daughter developed acute appendicitis and required emergency surgery. Later, she needed abdominal wall and stomach repair procedures, and in May she had to undergo additional surgeries. During that difficult time, we fell behind on our land payments and were no longer able to continue pursuing our dream of building a house. Because of the extensive care that our daughter required, I was unable to continue working, and Julio became the sole provider for our family. Since then, we have done our best to move forward despite the challenges, but our financial resources remain very limited. That is why we humbly ask for your support and consideration. We would be deeply grateful for the opportunity to provide a safe and stable home for our daughter and our family. Thank you very much for your time and kindness.
